I will be meeting some good friends tonight. They're all people I worked with in my first job. I think your first job as an adult is a real rite of passage. Mine definitely was. It was tough. I think I broke out into tears more than once a month when I worked at my first job.
Looking back now, God was extremely gracious to me. He gave me many fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who worked hand in hand with me on a daily basis. They gave me encouragement and brotherly love in times when I felt desperate and desolate.
Li Yeng, James Teo, Elton Loh and Isaac Sia, if you're reading this, I just want to say, "THANKS!" for putting up with a weepy girl at work in the earlier part of this century. I miss you all!
Isaac, a special thanks to you for still putting up with my "bimbo" questions about the speech therapy profession, till today! You're always so patient with me!
I'm so blur about these macro issues. I just wanna be a lowly therapist helping kids, one child at a time. Spare me the interfaces with the important and influential policy makers!
