We're heading near 2009. 2008 has been eventful. I've learnt quite a lot about life, about myself. So here I am now, taking stock of the rest of 2008 and bracing myself for 2009.
My Bible study group, Koinonia is organizing a BBQ on Oct 1st in Bukit Timah.
Am attending a colleague's wedding on the 4th of October at Sentosa.
Friend's daughter's one month baby shower on the 5th of October in the afternoon. Family gathering in the evening.
Old friends from NUH will be meeting up to play games at Settler's Cafe on either the 11th or 18th of October.
Anne (a friend from work) and I will be watching the Russian Ballet with me on the 15th of October.
There'll be a healing service at BRMC on Nov 8th. I'll be ushering for that one.
Then I will be going to Brisbane from November 10th to the 18th. Catching up with old friends from the late 90s. It's going to be walking facebook for me when I'm there!
When I return, come the 29th of November, I'll be attending the wedding of one my MGS Secondary One friends. I'm sure that will be a reunion of some sorts.
December will be busy at work. In addition, one of my cousins whom I'm really close to is getting married in the UK. I'm still undecided if I should fly there for the weekend. Seems insane, but it's family. I really need to clarify if Coz is having a celebration here in Asia or not.
In the midst of all this business, I'll need to "budget" time for the nephews, nieces and my god son!
Before it hits you, it'll be 2009. Maybe, I should get a headstart on those Christmas presents!
