I had a great time. This trip has CONVINCED me that, HENCEFORTH, Isabel Tan Cjinh Ping will have to travel ALONE. (if she wants to have a blast and a GREAT time, that is).
Ok, I need to qualify this in case Hwee, Shann or Del are reading this!!!
I have greatest affection for the three of you, and I had a GOOD time with you all, but..... I like me better!
I had a GREAT time with me. ESPECIALLY at the Hong Kong museum of art. THAT was the highlight of my trip. Now, I know for sure that Shann and Del would NEVER have wanted to do that. And I would have felt "compelled" to join them for shopping -- which would have made me grouchy.
I even toyed with the idea of going to the opera at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on my last night,-- I mean they were playing VERDI! That's like super hard to get tickets for in Singapore! BUT I made a friend during the course and she was keen on going out for drinks, and Anu invited her to go have drinks with her friends as well and I wasn't sure whether the dynamics would have been ok if I hadn't went so....... I gave the opera a miss...
Doesn't matter though, just means that when I head back to HK in 2009 or 2010 or 2011, I will HAVE to go to the opera. I know Anu will be pleased cos this means I have to go visit her again!
Will put up pics when I get organized. NOW, Isabel needs to sleep....

hey! i went to the museum of art during my trip in 2006! there was a jimmy liao exhibition which i enjoyed. after that...i continued shopping. haha!

OK, I didn't know you liked visiting museums too! Cool next time if I go, I'll ask you to come with me. I hate it when other people look at me strangely when I start muttering to myself!
