On a TVB roll that is.. Maybe it's the excitement of the impending Hong Kong holiday in October, but I've watched TWO TVB serials back to back.
Sally Video store is making money from me!! Well, better an SME than the big Video Ezy "conglomerate" I guess...
The latest indulgence is:
人生马戏团 The Biter Bitten
I really enjoyed this serial, but the English Translation of the title is quite... Confounding, if not, just plain misleading... Who's getting Bitten and who the heck is biting?
The serial's about two men and a girl who work in a zoo and the last protagnoist is a treasure hunter/archaeologist in China. Quite Indiana Jones!
It's exciting and the script as always to TVB's credit is cleverly complex.
The writers at TVB are so good at these plot twists. Hope they're duly rewarded.
Am thankful that I'm not going to be at work on Monday, the last few days have been quite draining.
This Visualizing and Verbalizing Workshop has drained quite a bit of brain-juice for me. Nevertheless, I am glad I've had the opportunity to learn this "word painting" technique from the Lindamood-Bell gurus.
Will look out for kids who will benefit from these techniques while I'm at work!
