Christmas Presents

October 1st: Children's Day. Naturally, I had to spend it with a significant child in my life. Mummy, Daddy and Godmum took him swimming yesterday. He was so scared! He really doesn't like water in large quantities. He cried real tears of fear and distress when we put him on the float. Poor baby!

However, we are determined to make him accustomed to water. He'll have to do NS when he's of age, and he'll have to learn how to swim by then anyway. He may not like it, but it's an important skill.
Come to think of it, we'll have to teach him how to ride a bicycle in 5 years time!

Now, do you all think it's too early to buy him a bicycle for Christmas?! He'll be 8 and a half months old by then, and he's already trying to walk now, at 6 months old! I think he's just got good motor coordination genes. His Daddy is a physiotherapist after all! =)

On the topic of Christmas presents, I don't think it's too early to start buying them. I have a significant number of friends and family who are in the UK, Canada and Australia. For THOSE people I'm going to start buying their presents and send it by BOAT by next week. THEN, it'll reach them in time for Christmas!
