It will be a time of reflection for me. 2008 has been eventful. In point form
1) Commitments were fulfilled on January 28, 2008. Public Service Commission -- EAT YOUR HEART OUT!
2) Old pain re-surfaced, resolving and healing commenced
3) Old friends revisited
4) New friends made
5) Questions surfaced
6) Closure attained
7) Old dreams revisited
which brings us to now. A chat with a good friend triggered me to re-evaluate the way I walk life's journey. I wasn't open with this friend about initimate things on my heart, simply because I didn't want to have to explain myself. My friend is gifted in execution of ideas, but not listening and acceptance. This friend is a good friend, but not a close one. We're good friends because our minds are alike, but not close friends because our hearts are different.
Nevertheless, this is a friend who has been supportive and kind when I needed support and kindness. So, I will endeavour to revisit some of the themes in our conversation if anything, because I respect the good intentions, and the well-meaning heart.
On a lighter note, I will post my Redang pictures up when I get back... For sure. I just need to decide, should I bring the guitar or not!?!?!?
