Do unto others as we would have them do unto us

Work has kept me busy. Have only recently had some time to relax and reflect.

Two days ago, a friend who has a different faith/religion from me asked me to check out what President Obama had to say to the Muslim world. She said it blew her away.

I found it today, through another friend's (this time of the same faith as I am) link on facebook. I'm glad I did, Mr Obama made a lot of sense to me.

In summary, this is what he said.

"It's easier to start wars than to end them. It's easier to blame others than to look inward. It's easier to see what is different about someone than to find the things we share. But we should choose the right path, not just the easy path. There is one rule that lies at the heart of every religion, that we do unto others as we would have them do unto us."
